My husband and I |
First, I have to say how excited am to have had my husband walk with me this year. This is my 3rd walk but 4th year supporting March of Dimes. Yay to hubby for walking with us.
Second, Thank you all for your support this year. It truly mean a lot to me. And if it means a lot to me just imagine what it means to the families of NICU babies, struggling to survive. Or the families like mine, who baby was premature and did not make it. I am truly honored to be apart of this amazing organization, helping support families and preemies. WE ARE THEIR VOICE.
Now on to the day.

I hardly slept last night. And when I finally did fall asleep I had to wake up about 2 hours later. I set my alarm but didn't turn it on. Thank goodness hubby internal clock works. We woke up at 5:45 about a half hour behind schedule. We picked up my mom and sister. And was were on our way. I didn't take pics of the journey there but that's ok. Anyway, we finally get there and we weren't behind at all. How does that happen? You get a late start but end up getting to your destination on time or even early. I met a friend, and her husband there. Bugs and Daffy were there. It was at Six Flags Great Adventure this year. I posted a few pics throughout this post. I'll post a link to
Shealyn's Angels facebook page, there you can see all of them.

We had a good turn out and the weather was beautiful. A little cold at first but not too bad. My first walk in 09, I was almost 5 months pregnant and it was probably 100 degrees out.
